Six teams from Stavropol, Kuban, Crimea, DPR and Rostov region gathered in the village of Vyselki for the Orca tournament among 11-year-old hockey players. Young students of Ilya Averbukh’s Stavropol winter sports school “Heritage” won bronze medals on the Kuban ice.
According to the publication “Stavropolskaya Pravda”, the ice squad under the leadership of coach Dzhanbek Lukmanov lost to the silver medalist, “namesake” – “Heritage” from Simferopol (2:4), as well as the winner of the competition “Avangard” (1:8). In addition, the captain of the Stavropol “Heritage” Ivan Steshenko was recognized as the best defender of the competition.
