“Young Guard” organizes children’s sports tournaments in new regions

A team of activists and volunteers went to new regions to organize sports competitions for children and teenagers.
According to the chairman of the Young Guard, Anton Demidov, in mid-February a football tournament with the participation of the 2003 Russian champion in CSKA Andrei Solomatin will be held in Mariupol. In the near future, Young Guard members will organize and hold a boxing tournament for children in Energodar. In Zhdanovka, the gym is being renovated – it will soon have all the necessary sports equipment, including specialized flooring for wrestling and boxing.
As Demidov says, among the children who live in new regions, many love sports and willingly engage in them. Now it is important to create conditions for them to train comfortably and safely, as well as opportunities to participate in competitions at the All-Russian level.
