Nevinnomyssk children’s football team “Arnest JUNIOR” took part in the international children’s football tournament – Lev Yashin Cup. The mayor of the city Mikhail Minenkov told his subscribers about this in the telegram channel. Competitions were held in Moscow. 24 strongest teams from Russia and neighboring countries took part.
At the group stage of the sports club “Arnest JUNIOR” after meetings with the teams “Batyr” from Ufa, “FK Academy” from Novosibirsk and “FSh Dynamo” from Voronezh took 3rd place and continued to fight in the “Silver Final” of the Cup. Having won a series of victories over their rivals – “Ajax” Krasnodar, “Aibyn” Astana, “Olympic” Vladikavkaz, our guys took 1st place in the Silver final! In the final standings of the entire tournament – 9th place. Nuria Nurgishieva was recognized as the best player of the team.
“In addition to the Cup matches, young football players of our city visited many interesting places in the Russian capital – Red Square, Zaryadye Park, a large entertainment complex and the home stadium of PFC CSKA VEB Arena,” added Mikhail Minenkov. “I wish the guys to go only forward and not stop at achieved! I am sure they will have many more victories ahead!”
