Young chess players from Kislovodsk won medals of the NCFD championship

Athletes from Kislovodsk (Stavropol) won 9 medals at the NCFD junior chess championship, which took place in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria. About three hundred chess players from different cities of the region took part in the competition.
The tournament program included three disciplines: “blitz”, “rapid chess” and “classical game”.
According to the results of the competition in the Rapid Chess category, the first two places were taken by Maria Adamova and Sofia Kuzmina; in the Blitz category Sofia Kuzmina and Olga Voskanyan won silver, Maria Adamova and Anna Kuzmina won bronze; in the category “Classic” two second places went to Sofia Kuzmina and Alana Bayramukova, the third went to Maria Adamova.
“I congratulate the athletes of Kislovodsk. We are proud and expect new victories from them,” the head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev addressed the participants.
