Young athletes from Volnovakha will come to Salekhard for the Yamal Sambo Championship

The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Sambo Championship will take place in Salekhard; young athletes from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Volnovakha will take part, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Salekhard Administration reported on the evening of February 29.
The competition will be held on March 2-3 at the Northern Character martial arts center. 130 people from Salekhard, Nadym, Novy Urengoy, Gubkinsky, Muravlenko, Tazovsky and Krasnoselkupsky districts will take part. Also, four students from the Volnovakha regional children’s and youth sports school will come to the regional capital.
On March 2, boys and girls aged 12-14 will compete, on March 3 – participants aged 14-16. The competition starts at 10:00.
