YouGov: Nearly 60% of Brits don't support PM Sunak

About 59% of people in the UK do not support Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. This should from a YouGov survey. 2012 people took part in the survey.

Only 31% of respondents are positive about the prime minister, while 35% of Britons surveyed expressed support for the leader of the Labor Party, oppositionist Cyrus Stammer, and 51% gave a negative assessment.

The level of British support for Sunak was high after his election at the end of October 2022. At that time, according to a YouGov poll on October 21, 43% were confident that Sunak would perform well as prime minister.

Sunak is a former Chancellor of the Exchequer (Minister of the Exchequer) and leader of the UK Conservative Party. He became prime minister at the end of October 2022 after a series of departures from this position, first by Boris Johnson on July 7 of the same year, and then by Liz Truss.

Truss entered UK history as the shortest-serving prime minister of just 50 days (September 6 to October 25, 2022) and resigned following the failure of her economic recovery plan, causing the pound to plummet.
