For example, a once festive top – with jeans, and trousers and a skirt – with a white T-shirt. They can be worn to any social event: breakfasts in restaurants, birthdays of friends and dates,” advises the designer.

Pacify

What if you bought a bright dress? It turns out that an elegant dress can also be adapted to life; for this, according to the expert, it needs to be “pacified” with simple or classic things. “Pair a silk slip dress with an open back with a classic oversized jacket, and a bright mini with sequins with a plain cardigan in a rough knit,” says Valentina.

Play with contrasts

This method is suitable for any elegant items. Especially if you like to experiment. But don’t forget: you need to play with contrasts carefully and be able to do it, otherwise there is a risk of looking tasteless.

“The most common and simple option is to combine any elegant item with sneakers. Avoid ultra-sporty options, otherwise it’s hard to go wrong here. You can also pair a sparkly dress with a sweatshirt, and bright trousers with a knitted hoodie. The main thing is to choose basic colors and a relaxed silhouette – without additional prints or designs. In some cases, you can even go to the office this way, if your dress code allows it,” advises Mukhovikova.
