You can now create stickers from images in Telegram – Kommersant

Telegram messenger added a new feature that allows users to create and edit stickers from images. The function is available in the mobile application; you can add animations, text and graphic elements to photos.

It is possible to cut out fragments of photographs, delete or restore individual parts of images, and make a white outline around them. The resulting stickers can be used in chats and added to sticker sets, including those with shared access.

To create a sticker, you need to click on the “+” icon in the stickers section that appears after entering a message. When the user adds the created sticker to the collection, he will be asked to choose the appropriate emoji for him – the AI ​​will provide the options. Since the new feature is integrated with the messenger’s search system, it will then be possible to send stickers using emoji.
