You can import your library and playlists from other music streaming services into Apple Music

The American corporation Apple is testing a new feature that will allow you to import playlists and songs from other music services. About it reports MacRumors with links to user posts.

A beta version with new functionality is already available to some users of the application on Android. Users are asked to download one of two versions of the application at random, after which Apple will determine which version works better.

Apple is likely collaborating with the SongShift platform, which allows you to transfer your music libraries between different streaming services. In the settings of the Android application, you can select the music service from which you want to import data, after which the songs and playlists will appear in the Apple Music library. It is unknown when the new feature will appear in the stable version for all users.

Apple will allow apps to be downloaded from third-party stores. Read more in the Kommersant FM article. “Apple is looking to the side”.
