“I was sure that the Soviet republics would live together, but I was wrong”
The whole world is watching the events taking place in Ukraine. Boris Yeltsin’s cousin Stanislav Glebov is also watching the Ukrainian conflict. He is confident that tense relations between our countries will continue for several more years.
“Everything will end when the people change,” Stanislav Fedorovich believes. When that happens, only God knows.
Stanislav Fedorovich knows that many blame Yeltsin for the Ukrainian conflict. Like, relations with Ukraine — fruits of his work. But Glebov is of a different opinion. He is sure: Boris Nikolayevich has nothing to do with it.
“Everything that is happening now is not the fruit of Boris’s activity,” Stanislav Fedorovich is sure. — He certainly didn’t expect this to happen. Boris thought that the Soviet republics would live together. But he was wrong. He’s been wrong all his life!
At the same time, Stanislav Fedorovich talks about his famous brother without aspiration. He calls him a scoundrel and assures him that all his life he thought only about power and his own enrichment.
Yeltsin’s 81-year-old brother Stanislav Glebov still lives in the village of Butka, in the Sverdlovsk region. Yeltsin also spent his childhood in these parts. However, according to Glebov, no one loves him at home.
