Yatsenyuk’s cinema will be nationalized in Crimea

The Crimean authorities will nationalize the popular Yalta cinema, which for many years belonged to the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Konstantinov said.
“In Crimea, the process of nationalization of the property of Ukrainian oligarchs continues. Work is currently underway on the Saturn IMAX cinema in Yalta. This is an object known to the Crimeans, which belongs to Arseniy Yatsenyuk. It is important to understand that we do not hunt for other people’s property. For us, the main thing is that a person be honest, not commit a crime against the Crimeans, our servicemen, Russia,”— wrote speaker of the Crimean parliament in his Telegram channel.
According to him, there is a lot of property in Crimea that belongs to foreign citizens, but those who help kill Russian soldiers should not earn money in the region.
“It is fundamentally. Therefore, we are striving not to appropriate their assets, but to eliminate the source of financing for this criminal regime,” Konstantinov added.
According to Kommersant, in accordance with the order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a temporary administration headed by Anatoly Makukha was introduced in the cinema. The authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan promise the team to keep all jobs.
Previously, the authorities of the peninsula nationalized more than 130 facilities owned by Ukrainian owners, including the largest in the region Bakhchisaray cement plant and the Zaliv shipbuilding plant, which has been fulfilling multibillion-dollar state orders from the Russian Ministry of Defense since 2014.
