Yaroslavl “Shinnik” played the last match of 2023 in a draw

Shinnik finished the first half of the 2023-2024 season with a game at home. On Saturday, the “black and blues” hosted KAMAZ.

The guests opened the scoring in the first half. And they consolidated their success at the beginning of the second. But Dmitry Khomukha’s team managed to pull themselves together by the second half. And they evened the score. First they took the assigned penalty. Then, at the very end of the half, they hit the opponent’s goal. Samoilov and Andreev scored goals.

The result of the meeting is 2-2. In a draw, Shinnik received two points and moved up to tenth line in the standings, increasing their lead from the relegation zone.

Governor Mikhail Evraev, who, according to tradition, attended the match, was pleased with the result of the game. And he presented Shinnik with a New Year’s gift.

“After the match, I handed over the keys to the new bus to the Shinnik team for travel to training and competitions. The new bus, branded in the colors of the club, will be visible and recognizable on the roads. The road to the training base in Belkino was repaired. It is important that the guys know that the Yaroslavl region is with them. We are proud of the team, we root for it, but we also expect good results,” – said the governor.

The Shinnik players will have a vacation. And after the vacation there is a period of training.
