Yaroslavl freestylers won two stages of the Russian Cup

The Podolino sports complex hosted the first and second stages of the Russian Freestyle Acrobatics Cup, which took place on January 22 and 23, respectively. 34 athletes from different regions of the country competed for prizes, including Moscow and the Moscow region, Ufa, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar territories. As a result, athletes from Yaroslavl became the winners.
Yaroslavl residents Lyubov Nikitina and Maxim Burov received two gold awards for each stage. Valeria Zhiltsova and Ilya Burov also won silver, and Pavel Kharlamov won bronze. This once again confirms the leading position of the Yaroslavl region in freestyle competitions.
The tournament included individual performances among men and women, where participants performed qualifying and final jumps. The best athletes were determined by the amount of points scored.
“Podolino” has been hosting the country’s best athletes for several years. Many participants consider this an ideal place for training and performances.
