Russian company Yandex (MOEX: YNDX) presented an improved version of the virtual assistant “Alice” based on the YandexGPT neural network. The company also announced a paid version of the Alice Pro assistant.
As stated in Yandex, you can now communicate with the AI assistant as with a smart, thoughtful interlocutor: “Alice” has gained the ability to explain phenomena and complex concepts in simple language, as well as maintain the context of the conversation and offer ideas.
If previously “Alice” could answer 60% of the questions, and in other cases she looked for information in a search engine, now the assistant will be able to answer 95% of the questions and even name the source of the answers. Also, “Alice” can now create new content without even switching to the “Let’s come up with an idea” mode, for example, when answering the question: “Alice, what should I give to my colleague?”, the assistant will immediately begin generating ideas.
A separate chat with “Alice” has appeared, which can be synchronized between different devices. With its help, you can compose theses, slogans and other texts, and you can have several chats at once.
The company also announced the most powerful version of the assistant – “Alice Pro” with the YandexGPT 3 Pro neural network for solving creative problems. She is able to work with a variety of styles and formats, provide detailed answers, and follow instructions with multiple conditions. According to Yandex, it will be useful for journalists, marketers, copywriters and other specialists. The cost of “Alice Pro” is 100 rubles. per month. Users are offered to use the new feature for free for the first six months.
