Yamal resident won silver at the All-Russian competitions of firefighters and rescuers

Procopius Okotetto from Seyaha took part in the All-Russian competition “Firefighter Olympus of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia-2023” and took second place. On June 5, the press service of the administration of the Yamal region told about the success of the northerner.

The competitions were held in Kubinka near Moscow, about 400 participants from 50 regions of Russia competed for the titles of the best. They demonstrated their work skills and their physical training: they ran like a snake with fire hoses, beat simulators with a sledgehammer, put out simulated fires and rescued the victims.

Procopius Okotetto won silver in the nomination “Without personal respiratory protection.”

Earlier we said that Igor Nikulin and Dmitry Gridunov from Yamal took top places at the All-Russian competition “Memorial of Evgeny Petrovich Savkov”.
