Representative of Yakutia, leader of the country’s junior team, Lev Pavlov, will compete for gold at the international competition in memory of Roman Dmitriev.
He will fight with the finalist of last year’s Russian U-21 Championship Khalid Magomedov.
Lev Pavlov won four victories and confidently advanced to the finals of the international tournament. During all the fights, he won all the matches ahead of schedule. In the final he will meet with Dagestani Khalid Magomedov.
In addition, on March 9, Nikolai Zakharov will compete for third place in the 57 kg weight category, his opponent will be known tomorrow. And in the weight category up to 65 kg, Vasily Grigoriev from Yakutia reached the bronze final.
The final fights on March 9 will take place from 18:00. From 10:30 a.m. there will be preliminary and consolation meetings.
