Yakut athletes won three medals of the Russian championship in freestyle wrestling

On Saturday, April 29, in the city of Mamadysh of the Republic of Tatarstan, the championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling among juniors under 20 years old ended. Athletes of the national team of Yakutia became the owners of gold and two bronze medals, the press service of the TsSP “Triumph” reports.
A brilliant performance was shown by Alexandra Kopylova, who became the champion in the weight category up to 50 kg. A pupil of the school of the Olympic reserve named after R.M. Dmitriev in the final with a score of 4:0 defeated her rival from Krasnoyarsk Irina Ryabko.
The bronze medal in the category up to 59 kg of the national team of Yakutia was brought by Evgenia Ogorodnikova, and in the weight up to 72 kg Liliana Rozhina won the third place.
Recall that all three girls also won medals at international competitions among juniors in memory of Roman Dmitriev in March in Yakutsk.
