Yakut athlete Sardana Trofimova today, October 5, won a bronze medal in the marathon at the Asian Games, which are being held in China in the city of Hangzhou. Sardana Trofimova performed at these games under the flag of Kyrgyzstan.
Participation in the marathon was Sardana Trofimova’s first major race after joining the Kyrgyz national team. As a result of the competition, an athlete from Kenya became the champion, and a Chinese woman took second place.
