Yabloko submitted to the Moscow City Duma a draft amnesty for criminal articles on fakes, discrediting and calling for sanctions

Faction of the Yabloko party reported, which submitted to the Moscow City Duma a draft resolution on amnesty, involving the termination of cases under Art. 207.3 (fakes about the army), 280.3 (discrediting the armed forces), 284.2 (calls for sanctions against Russia) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
It is assumed that the amnesty will also cover those sentenced to punishments not related to deprivation of liberty, those on probation, persons with a deferred sentence and those on parole. The head of the Yabloko faction in the Moscow City Duma, Maxim Kruglov, expressed the hope that “mercy will be higher than political differences,” and the project will be supported.
Among those affected by the proposed amnesty, the faction names the politician Ilya Yashin (recognized as a foreign agent, sentenced to eight years and six months in a penal colony under paragraph “d” part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), municipal deputy Alexey Gorinov (sentenced to seven years in prison under Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), an artist Alexandru Skochilenko (is under house arrest under Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), a journalist and a member of Yabloko Mikhail Afanasiev (arrested under Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). One of the charges against the journalist will also be dropped. Vladimir Kara-Murza (recognized as a foreign agent, arrested and charged under three criminal articles, including treason).
