At a meeting with Scholz, Xi Jinping proposed four principles for resolving the Ukrainian conflict

Four principles for resolving the conflict in Ukraine were proposed by the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, at a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. According to the Chinese leader, it is necessary to prevent the crisis from getting out of control and restore peace as soon as possible.

According to Xi Jinping, maintaining peace and stability should be a priority and should refrain from seeking benefits.

“Secondly, we must cool the situation and not add fuel to the fire. Thirdly, we must create conditions for the restoration of peace and refrain from further escalating tensions,” the Chinese leader said at a meeting with the German Chancellor.

Xi Jinping named reducing the negative impact on the global economy as the fourth principle. He called for refraining from undermining the stability of global industrial and supply chains.

Let us recall that President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on April 16 discussed the crisis on the territory of Ukraine. According to the Chinese leader, the PRC stands for a peace conference that is recognized by both sides of the conflict – both Russia and Ukraine.
