WSJ: The US began looking for specialists to study the circumvention of anti-Russian sanctions

Newspaper The Wall Street Journalreferring to Assistant Attorney General for Homeland Security Matt Olsen, said that the US Department of Justice is increasing the staff who are investigating attempts to circumvent anti-Russian sanctions.
Olsen clarified that the recruitment of 25 new specialists has been announced to work in the counterintelligence unit. Among other things, this division is responsible for enforcing export controls.
“By taking such steps, the White House wants to prevent private companies and other third parties from helping Russia circumvent the sanctions regime,” added the Assistant Attorney General.
