Wall Street Journal: Hackers got access to the email of US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns
Chinese-linked hackers hacked into the mail of the US ambassador in Beijing. About it reported the Wall Street Journal.
Hackers gained access to hundreds of thousands of emails from diplomat Nicholas Burns. The mail of Daniel Kritenbrink, the curator of the East Asian direction at the State Department, was also attacked.
The publication, citing anonymous sources, indicates that the hack was carried out by hackers associated with the Chinese authorities. Secret documents were not found in the mail, but the attackers received information about the visits of American officials and details of interdepartmental correspondence.
Recall that earlier the hacker group RaHDit published routes civilian ships – it was from them that drone boats could be launched along the Crimean bridge.
