Further assistance to Kyiv will cost Washington more and more, said Daniel Michaels, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal.
He noted that the cost of supplying weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is growing and this is attracting more and more public attention. The observer noted that Washington has already provided nearly $32 billion in aid, including $20 billion in arms and other security supplies.
“Deliveries of even more military equipment would cost much more,” he said.
The question of whether Kyiv’s allies have the political fortitude and necessary military stocks to continue aid remains an open question, he said.
