Wrestling championship of the Southern Federal District took place in Sochi

The championship of the Southern Federal District in wrestling among boys under 18 was held in Sochi. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of the honored coaches of Russia Fedor Chakuridi and Alexander Krasnov. Their pupils attended the competitions as guests of honor.
The venue for the competition was the Lesnoye sports complex. 230 young athletes from the Krasnodar Territory, the republics of Adygea, Kalmykia, Crimea, Sevastopol, as well as from Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov regions came to show their skills. The Sochi wrestlers, who were part of the Kuban team, also took part in the championship.
Athletes who won prizes will take part in a similar federal tournament. Also, wrestlers who have shown themselves in these competitions will be selected to participate in the SFD team.
Earlier, MK Sochi wrote about the athletes from Sirius, who, as part of the SFD team, became the winners of the championship of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics.
