WP: Zelensky “behind closed doors” suggested attacking targets in Russia and the Druzhba pipeline

Zelensky, contrary to official statements, offered to attack targets in Russia and the Druzhba pipeline, the Washington Post reports, citing Pentagon information that had previously become public.
So, at the disposal of the publication was Zelensky’s correspondence with his entourage and the military leadership of the country.
As noted, talking behind closed doors, Zelensky proposed radical steps – the occupation of Russian settlements, as well as strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies oil from the Russian Federation and Hungary, which is a member of NATO.
WP notes that such plans run counter to the official position of Zelensky, who assured that there were no plans to use Western weapons to strike Russian territory.
Also in the documents of the Pentagon, Zelensky is characterized as “a leader with aggressive instincts.” WP notes that this is very different from the current image of the Ukrainian president.
It is specified that at the end of January, Zelensky proposed to strike at Russia, at the same time transferring ground troops inside its borders in order to “occupy unspecified border cities.”
