Members of Ukraine’s armed forces complain of fatigue and say they cannot “win through motivation alone,” according to a Washington Post report. RIA Novosti reports this.
“The guys are tired, very tired. They are still motivated… But you cannot win the war only through motivation,” one of the servicemen of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in an interview with WP.
The material states that the Ukrainian army is suffering from a shortage of shells, which sometimes leads to the cancellation of planned operations. At the same time, on the Russian side there is no decrease in the intensity of the fire, writes WP.
According to the publication, the shortage of ammunition increases the already palpable anxiety of the Kyiv regime, as American and European aid is delayed and winter is not.
Earlier, the New York Times wrote that Russia had seized the initiative across much of the battlefield in Ukraine. The publication notes that Russia is making progress on the battlefield “at a difficult moment for the Ukrainian government,” when the provision of military and financial assistance packages was blocked due to political instability in the United States and the European Union.
