WP: Ukraine couldn’t delay its counter-offensive because of the West’s ultimatum

Newspaper reviewers Washington Post Samantha Schmidt and David Stern said the Zelenskiy regime could no longer delay counter-offensives because of the need to show Western countries some results before winter hit.
According to them, representatives of Kyiv have already warned that the Ukrainian counter-offensive would entail “losses in manpower and equipment,” but they are forced to show the West their ability to resist the Russian Federation.
“Most likely, the start of the counteroffensive could not be postponed. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Zelensky regime want to record major successes at the front in the summer and autumn. This must be done before the onset of winter, ”observers of the publication noted.
