WP: There is a growing split in Ukraine due to military failures and infighting at the top

The American newspaper Washington Post noted in its material the appearance of the first obvious cracks in the previously united Ukrainian society due to the lack of good news and fears of new attacks on the energy infrastructure in the coming winter.
All this “undermines the morale of the civilian population,” the material says.
At the same time, the article notes, the source of negativity is also the intensified struggle in the upper echelons of power, and the shift of the West’s attention to the conflict in the Middle East.
“Political disagreements have further darkened the mood of Ukrainian citizens, already sad because of… military failures,” write the authors of the article, citing as an example the events of recent days around Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
