Working for a foreign company is already recognized as unstable

The Russians began to consider work in foreign companies more unstable than in Russian ones, – analysts of the Get experts recruiting company came to this conclusion based on the results of a study among more than 1 thousand employees of Russian companies and representative offices of foreign companies in the Russian Federation. The instability of employment in the Russian representative office of a foreign company took first place among the shortcomings of such work, which were named by the Russians (50% of respondents, multiple answers are possible). In second place among the minuses were small career prospects or their absence (27.5%), in third place – a high level of bureaucracy (20%).
However, almost a third of the respondents (27.5%) see only advantages in working for a foreign enterprise. In the rating of advantages, the opportunity to work with a well-known international brand (73.3%), an attractive social package (65.1%) and corporate culture (63.1%) are in the lead. Respondents noted such advantages as the opportunity to learn from the experience of foreign colleagues (59.6%), larger tasks and projects (52.7%), higher salaries (52.1%), and a clear development system (41.1%) , opportunities to gain experience for a career (40%) and internships and work abroad (33%).
The attractiveness of working for a Russian employer is defined differently. In the first place – the stability of employment, then – the absence of the need for knowledge of a foreign language (27.8%), greater independence in decisions (24.1%). Among the shortcomings are low salaries (36.6%) and a high level of bureaucracy (33%), unstructured functions and departments (30%), the impossibility of career growth and salary increases (28.1%), “depersonalization” of employees (26.8 %). As Olga Shamber, CEO of Get experts, notes, over the past six months, many applicants and employees have undergone some reassessment of values - and there have been more requests for work in Russian companies. According to Anastasia Staseva, partner of Kontakt InterSearch Russia, a similar process can be observed in the hiring of top managers – however, for many, the choice in favor of a Russian enterprise is forced due to the departure of foreign companies from the Russian Federation.
