The program of the sixth round of the championship of Russia was opened by the match “Wings of the Soviets” – “Fakel”. The confrontation between the neighbors in the standings – Samarans took 11th place with five points, and Voronezh with three were one position lower – ended in a draw 1:1.

Of course, the meeting between Krylia Sovetov and Fakel was far from the main event of the sixth round, especially against the backdrop of the upcoming Dynamo-Spartak derby or the match between representatives of the top five Rostov-Sochi, but it also promised interesting football . Samarans and Voronezh made quite a good impression at the start of the championship, but they didn’t score points. The same “Wings” could not defeat “Torpedo” at home and in the last round they missed the victory over “Locomotive” away, which, it would seem, was already held in their hands. Nevertheless, the original team of Igor Osinkin, despite the loss of several leading performers who left for other clubs, does not abandon their style and continues to play attack.

Having returned to the Premier League after a long absence, Fakel also tries to act with an open visor and is not at all shy about big names.

Evidence of this was two draws – with Krasnodar and Dynamo, and together with Dynamo, the Voronezh team so lit up that they gave out, perhaps, the most spectacular match in this championship so far. And they, by the way, won against CSKA after the first half, although they could not resist, conceding four goals in the second. Fakel also ended the previous meeting with Ural in a draw, having not won a single victory in five rounds.

The Wings had some problems with the application.

For health reasons, the match was missed by Sergey Pinyaev, Fernando Costanza, Ilya Gaponov and Roman Yezhov, in whom Spartak is showing interest.

The general director of the capital club, Evgeny Melezhikov, has publicly confirmed that the red and whites have made an inquiry about the transfer fee for Yezhov, as well as his partner Yuri Gorshkov. By the way, the second one entered the field, and Yezhov’s “slight injury” could well be associated with the pre-sale preparation of the 24-year-old football player, whom Transfermarkt estimates at €1.5 million.

Recently, Krylya Sovetov and Fakel learned that they will be rivals in the group stage of the Russian Cup, where they will also have to compete with the current trophy holder Spartak and the national champion Zenit. So this season Samarans and Voronezh will often have to meet each other.

The first round of their confrontation took place under the dictation of the “Wings”, which, as expected, had more and better possession of the ball. But “Torch” was locked up and especially did not let the hosts to their gates. For the entire first half, they had, in fact, one single scoring chance, when Dmitry Tsypchenko unsuccessfully closed a cross from the right flank at the far post and missed an empty corner. A couple of times the leader of Samara residents Maxim Glushenkov reminded himself of himself, but in general the guests successfully coped with his care. Goalless draw accurately reflected the nature of the match before the break, which lacked some spark.

In the second half, the teams still splashed gasoline on a barely smoking fire. In the 61st minute, Glushenkov played sparklingly, spinning around his axis and thereby disorienting Sergei Bozhin, who was guarding him, and then skillfully shot past the goalkeeper from a reversal. However, the “Torch” flared up from this spark. Already in the 65th minute, Maxim Maksimov equalized the score from a corner, taking advantage of the confusion of goalkeeper Ivan Lomaev. After the exchange of goals, the game was finally revealed. In particular, Glen Bale could once again put the hosts ahead, but Voronezh was rescued by Ilya Svinov. And yet, in this match, a draw was recorded – 1: 1, which practically did not affect the standings of both teams.
