To enable the new feature, you need to select the automatic updates option in the Group Policy section.

The feature to automatically install optional updates was already available on Windows 11, but now it has appeared on the older system. Users will be able to use the option after installing the Windows November update. Administrators at companies will be able to enable the new feature as a Group Policy object. Additional updates often fix bugs in stable versions of the OS or newly discovered vulnerabilities. Each of them contains a description of the problem it solves.

Previously Microsoft added the ability to work with the ChatGPT chat bot via the Windows 11 command line. In addition, the company closed the last opportunity for Windows 7 and 8 users to upgrade their OS to new versions for free.
