The first ranking, published in July 2022, before the Oscars ceremony, placed Will Smith among the favorite personalities of Americans, alongside Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. Two ratings are thus assigned to each of the celebrities evaluated, one positive and one negative. In July, Will Smith scored a positive Q Score of 24 (24% of respondents who know Will Smith rate him as one of their favorite personalities) compared to 39 in January. His “negative” score has meanwhile increased from “less than 10” to 26 (26% of respondents have an “average” or “bad” opinion of Will Smith). Q Score Executive Vice President Henry Schafer describes the downfall as “a very significant and precipitous decline” near variety.

The British tabloid reveals that Netflix would be interested in making a biopic of the actor of the Prince of Bel Air including his famous slap to Chris Rock. “You could say that the slap and the fallout are pivotal moments in Will’s life and will be part of the storyline,” reports The Sunaccording to a source familiar with the matter.
