The United Kingdom has lifted sanctions from the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, this is stated in a statement by the government of the country.
“The following person has been removed from the consolidated list and is no longer subject to asset freezes: Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozhaev,” the report says.
Razvozhaev would have been included in the sanctions list in January 2020. Then the Council of the European Union for Common Affairs, which at that time included Great Britain, imposed sanctions on Razvozhaev and six other people in view of the elections in Crimea in 2019.
The sanctions included an asset freeze and a travel ban to the EU.
