The Ozon marketplace limited the possibility of placing orders in the southern regions of Russia, while the Wildberries platform announced the continuation of the work of pickup points in the Rostov and Voronezh regions.

“Wildberries is making efforts to maintain stable, uninterrupted operations throughout Russia. <...> Pick-up points in the Rostov and Voronezh regions are currently continuing their work, buyers can receive their orders. In addition, we will extend the period for receiving goods through the points of issue,” told in the press service of Wildberries.

Ozon also announced possible delivery delays due to road closures in some areas. “Of course, the ratings of sellers who cannot now make a shipment of goods will not be affected. For the convenience of customers, we have extended the shelf life of orders if the item worked intermittently,” added in the marketplace (quote according to TASS).

Earlier in the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region announced on the restriction of traffic on the highways “Don”, “Ural” and “Crimea”. Prior to this, today the ministry urged drivers to refrain from traveling along the Don and Crimea highways and announced the blocking of the bridge over the Oka on the Simferopol highway in the Serpukhov region.

This is happening against the backdrop of events related to the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. On the evening of June 23, on social networks associated with Prigozhin, on his behalf, it was announced about a missile attack on one of the rear camps of a military company and other statements were circulated. The Ministry of Defense stated that reports of attacks on Wagner PMC fighters are not true and are an “information provocation.”

In connection with the situation with PMC Wagner and its founder, Russian President Vladimir Putin appealed to the citizens of Russia, to the personnel of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies and special services, “to the soldiers and commanders who are now fighting in their combat positions.” He stated that all those who prepared an armed rebellion, “took the path of blackmail and terrorist methods”, will be punished – “they will answer both before the law and before our people.”
