A resident of Yekaterinburg explained the cancellation of her divorce from her husband who died in the Northern Military District

A resident of Yekaterinburg, who managed in court to have the decision to divorce her husband, who died three days before the court decision in the Northern Military District, overturned, explained her motives. The woman told reporters that she had lived a long life together with the deceased, and considered the subsequent termination of cohabitation to be simply an ordinary crisis of family life.

“We lived with a man for 17 years, why should I give up money? – stated Olga E1.ru. “All families have conflicts.”

According to the woman, despite the fact that in recent years her husband lived separately, he still “came to see me every day.” She also noted that the man actually became the father of her child from a previous relationship.

The man’s relatives intend to challenge the court’s decision. According to them, four years ago Olga herself demanded that her husband move out. Relatives also claim that the man suggested his wife to divorce several times, but she did not agree. The niece of the deceased stated that before being sent to the Northern Military District, her uncle issued a power of attorney for her in order to finally get a divorce through the court, and the divorce took place. The basis for canceling the divorce was that at the time of the man’s death the spouses were still married, the decision on divorce was made by the judge three days after his death – news of it was late.

E1.ru notes that part of the payments due to the relatives of those killed in the Northern Military District has already been divided between the man’s mother and the widow. “Now they both lay claim to Putin’s millions,” the publication adds.
