Advanced training courses help teachers not to get lost in the flow of modern changes

Today, the teacher faces a difficult task – to create conditions for the development of students’ creative abilities, to develop in schoolchildren the desire for a creative perception of knowledge, to teach them to think independently, to more fully realize their needs, to increase motivation for studying subjects, to encourage their individual inclinations and talents.

A teacher with the highest qualification category must be able to convey to teaching teams the experience of the practical results of his professional activities, including experimental and innovative ones, create his own educational resources, and much more.

And, of course, to help teachers there are unified electronic platforms where they can get information verified by experts, advice, and auxiliary material. Russian teachers were provided with work programs that had already been developed and verified by experts, and most importantly, they were provided with teaching materials and the opportunity to receive all the necessary information through a proven and high-quality tool – the FSIS “My School”. And, for example, the Internet portal “Unified Content of General Education” is already used by more than 3 million people.

In order to use all the tools and opportunities, teachers need to periodically update their knowledge, learn to work with new legal acts, pedagogical methods, curricula and innovative technologies, and also apply all this in practice.

According to experts, children change approximately every five years; they come to school with new needs and demands; New technologies are emerging that a teacher needs to be able to work with, and you need to understand what competencies a modern and successful teacher needs to have.

At advanced training courses for teaching staff, new developments in educational legislation and information technologies in teaching are considered; requirements for holding cultural events in schools, psychological aspects of teaching, aspects of interaction with children, new trends in pedagogy and related sciences, current literature on the topic is discussed.
