Which regions are leading in the number of social contracts – Economics – Kommersant

At the end of 2022, the social protection authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region concluded the most social contracts (almost 10 thousand), Krasnodar Territory (9.8 thousand) was in second place, and Krasnoyarsk Territory was third (9.2 thousand). Also, the 15 regions that the Ministry of Labor identified as using the social contract more often than others include Samara (9.2 thousand) and Novosibirsk (9.1 thousand) regions, Altai Territory (8.3 thousand), Tatarstan (7. 2 thousand), Chechnya (6.9 thousand) and Dagestan (6.9 thousand).

The share of the most popular type of social contact in 2021 and 2022 did not change (employment; about 40%), but at the end of last year, the share of those who signed a contract to develop their own business increased significantly – from 23.4% (65.9 thousand contracts) to 32.7% (90.3 thousand). The share of those who used contact to get out of a difficult life situation, on the contrary, decreased – from 27.4% (77.3 thousand) in 2021 to 17.1% (47.4 thousand) in 2022.

At the same time, the amount that those who enter into a contract for employment can receive is minimal compared to payments for other purposes. So, they are entitled to four payments in the amount of the living wage, while those who enter into a contract to develop their own business can claim up to 350 thousand rubles.
