Whatsapp messenger will become incompatible with some older smartphones from January 1, 2023. The app will no longer run on iPhone 5, Huawei Ascend D, Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3 mini, Sony Xperia Arc S and others.
In total, WhatsApp will stop working on 49 smartphone models. Starting October 24, the app will no longer work on iOS 10 and 11 operating systems.
