Whatsapp on the web now has a feature to edit sent messages

Whatsapp messenger released the new beta version of WhatsApp Web, where you can edit sent messages. Users will be able to change the text of the message an unlimited number of times within five minutes after it was sent.
To correct the text, you need to click on the message and click “Edit”. You can correct messages in both private and group chats. In the future, the feature will also be available on WhatsApp versions on iOS and Android.
The ability to edit messages is already available in some popular messengers – in Telegram, you can edit messages since 2016. In 2022, iOS 16 was released on Apple devices, which allowed you to edit the text of an iMessage message up to five times within 15 minutes of sending it.
Former WhatsApp messenger released a new beta version for Windows, which introduced a number of new features, including the ability to listen to voice messages outside the chat and change the wallpaper for correspondence.
