Whatsapp messenger released special beta version for tablets. Some users can download it through the Google Play Beta Program, a stable release is expected in the near future.
Users who can install WhatsApp on a tablet receive a special banner announcing the new version of the program. Only owners of Android devices will be able to download it. Some features may not be available in beta.
Earlier, WhatsApp began testing the ability to work on an Android tablet using an existing account – users will not need to enter a new phone number. According to survey research center SuperJob, WhatsApp is used by more than 74% of Russians for work purposes.
