On the Single Election Day on September 11, about 4.6 thousand election campaigns will take place in 81 regions. According to the results of the elections, more than 31 thousand deputy mandates and elected positions will be replaced.

During the main election campaigns will be elected 14 heads of regions. In another region, the Republic of Adygea, the head will be elected by a vote in parliament.

AT six regions legislative elections will be held. Including in five – according to the mixed system, in one more – only according to party lists.

Also will be held elections of deputies in 12 administrative centers (capitals) of subjects of the Russian Federation. Of these, five have a majoritarian system (only single-mandate members participate), one has a proportional system (only party lists), and six have a mixed one.

The biggest competition (more than 10 people per seat) in the main election campaigns is in the elections of regional and local deputies according to party lists.

This is explained by the fact that the overall percentage of refusals to register party lists is lower than that of single-mandate members. The last to spoil the statistics are self-nominated candidates. Less than half of the non-partisan candidates were able to complete the registration process.

Excluding self-nominated candidates, the share of those who successfully completed the process of registering candidates for the elections of deputies of legislative assemblies and city dumas exceeds 90%.

In the municipal elections in the capital will be replaced 1417 mandates in 125 municipal districts.
