What to wear on the last call: fashion for vintage dresses has appeared in Russia

While school holidays are canceled in some regions, others are held in royal residences

“When we leave the school yard” – many students dream of this moment. Some with hidden sadness, others can’t wait to be released from school. But everyone, including the teacher who “walks to the corner”, will be united by one holiday – the last bell. “MK” learned that this year it is supposed to meet him in a uniform brown dress with a white apron, and celebrate in exotic places. But not all graduates of the country will have this holiday.

In Crimea, it was decided to hold the last call only for grades 9 and 11. The rest of the schoolchildren will not be present at the solemn rulers, but the parents of graduates will be able to come there. Other festivities at the end of the school year will be held exclusively on school grounds. “All security measures will be taken in educational institutions,” promised the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov.

In schools in the Belgorod region, located 15 km from the border and closer, all festive events have been canceled. In other districts, the last calls will be made for 11th graders and 9-11th graders. And somewhere, “calls” in schools are allowed for everyone, but at the same time there can be no more than 300 people on the line. Or you need to draw several lines. Before the holiday, security measures will be strengthened: schools are examined by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dog handlers, entrance is strictly by passes and preliminary lists.

“In closed border municipalities where distance learning is taking place (Belgorodsky district, Borisovsky district, Valuysky district, Veydelevsky district, Volokonovsky district, Graivoronsky district, Krasnoyaruzhsky district, Rovno district and Shebekinsky district), the format is remote, in the form of a festive class hour for students of 1-4th, 5-8th, 9th and 10th grades, – said the Minister of Education of the region Andrey Milekhin. – Full-time format is allowed for 11th grade graduates. In Belgorod itself, the last calls will be made for graduates of the 9th and 11th grades.

In Voronezh, where the Citywide Alumni Ball was canceled earlier to comply with security measures, the last calls will take place on May 19-22. And no changes will take place both calls and graduation balls in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

As for other cities in Vesey, here for most students the last bell is the long-awaited start of the holidays, and for graduates it is a graduation ball rehearsal. But in recent years, parent committees and school administration have been doing a lot to ensure that the last bell turns into a separate holiday.

“I don’t know where such a craving for epicness came from,” says Maria, the mother of the graduate Fedor. – I remember the last calls before: a ruler, then a holiday and a disco at school. But now, if a concert, then an hour and a half, if a boy wrote a song, it will be rehearsed 20 times during the very preparation for the exam. And the removal of a first-grader girl with a bell is generally staged and resembles in its scale the Hunger Games, when there were tributes on chariots. And this, not to mention the sore subject of gifts for teachers. We broke two cool chats while choosing gifts.

But it also happens that the last call becomes graduation. For example, for June, immediately after passing the exam, vouchers were taken from the family. Or the student himself understands that he won’t write exams well, so he wants to breathe, “for the last time.”

The fashion trend of recent years, which is still gaining popularity, is that girls come to the last call in the form of a schoolgirl of the past 30 years ago. Brown dress, white apron, bows in her hair. But, of course, the dress is not from a children’s clothing store – it is made to order, fits very well and is usually very short. Young men at the last call do not shine with the uniform of Soviet or gymnasium times, choosing ordinary two-piece suits.

In Moscow and other large cities, the format of the ruler plus the celebration at school suits few people. And at the graduation ball, and at the last call, everything is also in an adult way. A party in a cafe, bar or club is commonplace. Picky current graduates give if the club, then paintball or equestrian. It is not for nothing that even offices have appeared, specialized specifically in school bells and graduations. Everything you can imagine is there: the last call on a ship and a yacht, on the roof of a skyscraper, on a farm, in a manor near Moscow or a former royal residence. Of course, all this is well worth it. Therefore, for more democratic celebrations, amusement parks and other “mass events” are offered.
