Grechushkin Nikolai Nikolaevich was born on August 22, 1969 in the Orenburg region. He graduated from the Gorky Higher Military School of Logistics named after I. Kh. Bagramyan (1991), the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport (2002).
In 1991–1992, he served as head of the food and clothing service of the rear of military unit No. 73484 of the 7th Tank Army of the Belarusian Military District. Then he headed the food services of a battalion, regiment, division of the Far Eastern Military District.
In 2002–2004, he was the head of the food service of the 22nd Combined Arms Guards Army of the Moscow Military District. In 2004–2008, he was Head of the Logistics Section of the Logistics and Armaments Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. In 2008-2014 – Deputy Director, Director of the Logistics and Armaments Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He was relieved of his post by presidential decree in April 2014.
From 2014 to 2018, he was the head of the Logistics Organization Department – Deputy Head of the Logistics Staff of the RF Armed Forces. In June 2018, he returned to the Ministry of Emergency Situations as the head of the investment and construction department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. On July 24, 2018, he was appointed Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Colonel General. Acting State Councilor of the Russian Federation III class (2019). He was awarded medals “For Services to the Fatherland” I and II degrees, “For Strengthening the Combat Commonwealth”.
