West recommends Zelensky not to refuse negotiations with Putin

Some Western diplomats believe that it is better for Ukraine to remove the condition on the impossibility of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, since then its position may weaken, writes Sky News.
According to the publication, Western diplomats believe that now it would be useful for Volodymyr Zelensky to withdraw his condition of refusing to negotiate with Vladimir Putin in order to negotiate “at a time when Kyiv is in relative strength, having launched successful counter-offensives.”
“Diplomats are concerned that the longer the war drags on, the greater the risk that the balance of power could shift towards Russia, and this could further weaken Ukraine’s position,” the newspaper writes.
In early October, Zelensky legislated the impossibility of negotiating with Putin. The Kremlin said that now it is necessary to wait for a change in Zelensky’s opinion or the arrival of a new president of Ukraine.
