A record warm weekend for the end of October is predicted in Moscow. The night of October 29-30 is expected to be the warmest in 75 years.
Warming in the capital is a giant North Atlantic cyclone. Evgeny Tishkovets, the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, spoke about this in his telegram channel.
However, according to the meteorologist, the weekend will not only be warm, but also windy and rainy.
“For every day, almost a bucket of rainwater will spill – up to 8 mm. That is, in total, up to 25% of the monthly norm will fall out, ”said Tishkovets.
On the night of Saturday, October 29, 4-9 degrees of heat is expected in Moscow, and in the afternoon the temperature will rise to 7-12 degrees. Moreover, such a temperature will last all night – it will get colder by a maximum of 1-2 degrees.
According to forecasts, the worsening of the weather will begin on Sunday morning. From 10 degrees Celsius by noon the temperature will drop to 5-7 degrees and will continue to drop against the backdrop of squally wind, the speed of which can reach 20 m/s. By evening, it is likely to rain with snow.
On Monday, October 31, the cold snap will continue, so the traffic police recommended that drivers not wait for frosts and set aside time on the weekend to change tires, as well as fill the tanks with anti-freeze.
