Weather in Moscow: we are waiting for the thaw again

Last week, the capital was literally filled with snow. Forecasters report that since the beginning of December, 2.5 monthly rainfall has fallen in the capital, and most of them just fell on the past weekend. There will be no heavy snowfalls from December 19 to 25, but a thaw is expected again from the middle of the week.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation, on Tuesday in Moscow it will get colder to -9 … -7 ° at night and -8 … -6 ° during the day. But the sun will come out, and precipitation is not expected.
On Wednesday, December 21, it will be even colder at night: -14 … -12 ° is expected, and in the morning a sharp warming will begin and -2 … 0 ° is already predicted in the afternoon. In this case, light precipitation in the form of sleet and even rain is possible.
On Thursday, December 22, warming will continue: at night 2…0°, in the daytime 1…3°. Forecasters predict rain and snow, as well as increased winds with gusts of up to 15 m/s.
On Friday, December 23, and Saturday, December 24, strong changes are not expected: -4 … 1 ° at night and -2 … 3 ° during the day. From the sky it will again pour snow, then rain, and the wind will subside a little – up to 10 m / s.
At the same time, ice is expected all week, so both drivers and pedestrians should be careful.
