In Moscow and the Moscow region, rain, thunderstorms and strong winds with gusts of up to 20 m/s are forecast in the next 24 hours, they reported. Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Phobos center, from April 15 to April 21, Moscow will receive the monthly norm of precipitation.

“In the period from 19:00 on April 14 to 09:00 on April 15, short rain, heavy in places, and thunderstorms are expected. From 21:00 on April 14 to 18:00 on April 15, the southwest wind is expected to increase with gusts of 15–20 m/s,” the capital’s Ministry of Emergency Situations stated in the alert. The same forecast was published by the operational services of the Moscow region.

According to the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Evgeniy Tishkovets, Muscovites will experience a cold snap, and in the next four days the monthly norm of precipitation will fall in the capital – up to 37-38 mm. “Forecast for the week: 7 damaging weather factors – cold, abnormal rainfall, sleet, frost, strong wind, magnetic storms and pressure saw,” Mr. Tishkovets wrote in his Telegram-channel. According to his calculations, the heaviest showers will be on the night from Sunday to Monday (10 mm), on Thursday evening (5.8 mm) and on Friday night and morning (18.9 mm). He predicts the driest day to be Tuesday.

Along with the rain on the evening of April 15 and the day of the 19th, there may be sleet. According to the meteorologist’s forecast, on the night of Saturday, April 20, frosts may return in some places: in the capital the temperature will be around zero, in the Moscow region it will drop to minus one.
