As the mentor of the Ulyanovsk team rightly noted, the game fell apart after the seventieth minute. The match ended with a score of 4:12 in favor of the Khabarovsk team.

– A good match from our side. There were many good combinations, beautiful individual actions too. We showed combinational hockey at a high level. If you take the first half, I think we played consistently, we played well. Scored four goals. We could have scored more, but Volga defended well. We left the second half – here we have not the best segment of 10 minutes. There were several minutes where we conceded three goals – we didn’t score two, but conceded three. And of course we didn’t want that. We want to come out much more collected and not concede such balls. But, it’s a game. We will analyze, talk about how we can improve this moment and move on. Even at the beginning of the second half, we wanted to continue playing the way we played the first half, but here, if you take the first goal, Volga caught on to the top gear with us. Everything seemed to be under control, but we lost the duel and the ball fell out to the Volga player, who performed well at this moment. There was also one more goal out of these three – the same thing. It was necessary to add to the aggression initially immediately in the second half, because here the Volga won this duel and scored goals due to this. We rebuilt and then again took control of the match, – said Mikhail Pashkin, head coach of HC SKA-Neftyanik.

I liked the match and the mentor of the Ulyanovsk team. Not all of it, just the first seventy minutes.

– You know, for about sixty – sixty-five minutes we could oppose something in defense, there were good counterattacks, but we didn’t finish the game. But after the sixty-fifth minute, we just got up and 44 just tore us apart. And they played so well, I believe that the first half and the beginning of the second. Well… class is class. As for the three goals scored against the opponent at the beginning of the second half, I do not think that we provoked him with this. Rather, on the contrary, when the fourth goal was scored, they started running and scoring, although they also had to play on counterattacks. Those people who had no right at all even to attack were circumcised … they had to give back, but they continued, and then they were not enough in defense. On the contrary, the fourth ball spurred the team to attack. And of course, the SKA-Khabarovsk team adds and adds every year, and adds the most important thing in the team movement, in understanding each other … I believe that after the new year they will generally be stronger. How about playing some more indoor hockey… you know how to play indoor hockey with them? We already tried to play indoor hockey, but the players have such a class, how can you play indoor hockey with them? If we had at least a few such players, then it would be possible. Here we had moments – we take the ball away, immediately give it to them, and they score against us. This is the class, because we, having taken away from us, do not have a player who is able to pull this ball out and continue the story. With us, we shift responsibility to each other and get … four goals, we have such goals for sure. As for the satisfaction from the game – for seventy minutes I liked the game, but after the seventieth we simply did not have enough resources. There were not enough benches and a class. We spent a lot of energy, because the smaller the class, the more energy you expend – we don’t take pauses, we can’t hold the ball … and that’s all. But scoring such a team is worth a lot. And it’s not easy to score, and sometimes a couple of good combinations turned out. Goals scored by the players of the national team, national team defense, national team midfield – it’s worth a lot. The problematic line is midfields, we can strengthen it until December, we are looking for it, and if there are financial opportunities, we will strengthen it, – stressed Alexander Savchenko, head coach of HC Volga.

SKA continues the away streak – the first since the start of the championship, next match will take place next Wednesday in Nizhny Novgorod against the local “Start”.
