We live with a feeling of celebration - MK

Last fall, residents of the Pashino microdistrict (Petrovsky site) in the Tomsk region not only celebrated its tenth anniversary, but also the arrival of natural gas. We learned about the hopes and plans with which the villagers greeted these two significant events and what changed in their lives after that from the chairman of the board of the village, a deputy, a doctor with extensive work experience and simply a legendary woman – a mother of many children of five children, grandmother of eight grandchildren Makhova Lyubov Mikhailovna.

– Your microdistrict is relatively young, but it is not standing still. How did the inhabitants of the village feel with the advent of gas in the anniversary year, what changed in your life?

– Firstly, we felt a holiday. For most people this feeling still persists. Gasification here went just great. The entire area was supplied with gas communications. To everyone who participated in this process, thank you very much for your help. There is a phrase “bright future”. This is about our microdistrict, he is striving for it today. There has been very rapid development with gas in our area. Since I am responsible for our village, I asked representatives of the gas organization to distribute pipes throughout the village so that this would be a foundation for the future. That is, I expressed a request that gas workers bring communications even to those areas where there are no buildings yet. After all, as a deputy, I know every family in my locality, who has what plans. Who breathes what? I know that people are definitely planning to build here and settle down. Gas has appeared, which means things will work out! In our microdistrict there are 142 plots, 108 households. With the launch of gas, the necessary infrastructure began to appear. They’ve even built a playground! I express my deep gratitude to the deputy of the Tomsk region from United Russia, Yuri Viktorovich Drozdov. Firstly, he helped organize two more sports elements for older children for this site. Secondly, we have a regular bus service for school-aged children. After all, the nearest school is located quite far from us. Thirdly, we now have a stop with a sign “Pashino”. It is fully lit. In general, our place is amazing. It blossoms every year. And at the same time it is quiet and beautiful.

Gasification of houses in Pavshino

– How long have you settled here yourself?

– Almost from the day the microdistrict was founded. Previously, we lived in the private sector of the city of Tomsk. In 2013, resettlement of this territory began. Then we began to travel around the surrounding towns and villages and look for a plot of land for ourselves. But somehow everything was not to my liking; we didn’t feel any inner trembling. But we fell in love with Pashino at first sight. As a result, in 2014 we bought land here. They began to build. The husband and son built the house themselves from scratch. Its total area was more than one hundred square meters. My men completed the main work in about 8 months. And in 2016, we already registered in a new nest. There is still a lot of work to be done on the house. But anyway, we created our own comfort for the first time in about a year. Now every year we try to improve something, complete construction, insulate, decorate. We have our own well on the site. Previously, the life of our house was tied to electricity. We paid 16 thousand a month. Of course, I’m still working. My husband and I have a good pension. It’s a sin to complain. But even such utility costs were significant and heavy for us. And now the gas has arrived, and we are already paying 3 thousand a month, even in the coldest time! And by the way, this event was brought closer by me too. I fought for gas and achieved it.

– That is?

– I started raising the issue of bringing blue fuel to Pashino back in 2016. When I arrived here, I was elected head of the board. Then I found out that there was already a pipe here. High pressure gas flowed through it. This communication went straight past us in the direction of the village of Moryakovka. That’s when, with the help of our residents, we raised money for the gas project and received documents. At the same time, I started knocking on the doorsteps of the gas organization and asked to organize gas in Pashino, to run into the gas pipe closest to us. Naturally, at first my campaigns did not bring results. My history of walking was difficult and long, but I did not give up. For six years I persistently asked to “breathe life” into our village with the help of gas arteries. As a result, the district authorities advised the local gas management to meet me halfway. So they said: “Makhova had better sign all her statements. She won’t calm down. Put her in the door and she’ll climb in the window.” And it turned out that the additional gasification program arrived in time for our gas movements. This was so helpful. After all, our design documentation for the entire village was ready a long time ago. Therefore, everything turned out quickly and even generally inexpensive. Our beneficiaries also received certificates. So for the residents of our neighborhood, the social gasification program was a natural continuation. In terms of expenses, people met the amount of 100-110 thousand. After all, this price also includes equipment. For example, we have a wall-mounted double-circuit boiler hanging. That is, it immediately gives us hot water and heat.

– And you and your spouse, as pensioners, are also entitled to benefits?

– If we didn’t work, she would be there. But our total income exceeds the minimum when gasification costs can be compensated. Therefore, when we submitted documents for compensation, the employees of the gas organization gave us a justified refusal.

– I know that you have extensive medical experience?

– Yes, I devoted more than 45 years of my life to medicine. After all, I’m already 70! When the pandemic began, I was on watch for three years, working in the Covid department. At the very beginning of the pandemic, in 2019, our district hospital in the village of Timiryazevo was repurposed into a Covid department. The most seriously ill patients were brought to us. I understood that my age was very dangerous for such work. Even younger doctors left, but I stayed. Everyone knew that I would not leave and would fight for people’s lives, that’s how it was built. I’m not afraid of difficulties. On the contrary, I love overcoming them! I am the kind of person with an eternal motto in life: “Who else, if not me?!” This is my main principle.

– You are extraordinary!

– Well, what are you talking about! I am the most ordinary, simple Russian woman. My beloved husband Alexander Valentinovich is always next to me. I consult with him on any issue. We live in perfect harmony. We admire how our children have grown up, how our grandchildren are growing up. “Although we stopped kissing. And speak happy words. But our children suddenly grew up. Beautiful as wild grass.”

Gas supply to residential buildings

I really don’t like it when someone starts whining and complaining about life. Then I ask in response, what have you done to make life better?! What did you do to change it?! I can’t stand empty kitchen conversations about how bad everything is, how worthless our government is. This is the reasoning of consumers who sit and wait for what they want to be brought to them on a silver platter. But that doesn’t happen. How much you give to the world, to people, is what you will receive. For example, I am not afraid of any work. On the contrary, I take on many responsibilities and fulfill them. Life is more interesting this way. For example, my husband and I even started raising bees. We now have our own honey. There is no need to rely on anyone. We need to make plans and act. Just think, I’m in my eighties, just think, we raised five children. We still have a lot of strength! We will develop the area and build a bright future. One day we will be gone, but people will remember us with a kind word. It costs a lot.
