The Russian company Yandex has added water transport in Moscow to the routes of the Yandex Maps service. Now users will be able to continue routes, taking into account the regular schedule of ships.
We were the first to add a route from the Kievsky railway station to the Heart of the Capital residential complex to the application. In the application, you can see the schedule and forecast for the arrival of ships, for this you need to enter the route number in the search or click on the pier. Also, “Yandex Maps” now takes into account water transport when building routes and will offer sections that can be overcome along the river. Formerly “Yandex” has provided companies access to YandexGPT, while Yandex SpeechKit had added the possibility of recognition and synthesis of speech in the Uzbek language.
Yesterday, June 20, the first regular year-round river electric transport route on the Moscow River was opened in Moscow. The first route, 6.5 km long, connected the Kyiv railway station with the pier “Heart of the capital” in the Shelepikhinskaya embankment area. The second route, which is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2023, will connect Avtozavodskaya Bridge and Pechatniki.
